Electrical Apprentice
We are currently seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment to build a rewarding career in the electrical industry.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Apprentice, your responsibilities include:
Completing all tasks assigned by the journeyperson electrician.
Under the direction and supervision of the journeyperson, installing, examining, replacing or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
Under the direction and supervision of the journeyperson, testing electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
Under the direction and supervision of the journeyperson, maintaining, repairing, testing and installing electrical motors, generators and heat pumps
Complying and adhering to industry safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in the Electrical Apprentice program.
Experience in residential electrical is an asset
Knowledge in residential codes & practices
Solar and/or generator experience considered an asset
Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
Must be able to work within strict deadlines
Must have a valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Customer relations experience required

Journeyperson Electrician
Position: Journeyperson Electrician
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday – 40 hours (Opportunity for Overtime) Experience:
Proven Experience as a Commercial and Residential Electrician
Responsibilities:
Electrical Installation and Maintenance:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to execute projects accurately.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Project Management:
Manage and organize work orders, ensuring timely completion of projects within specified deadlines.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to achieve project goals.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality of work by conducting inspections and testing electrical systems.
Implement best practices to meet and exceed industry standards.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional recommendations.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Training and Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
Solid working knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems.
Ability to handle service calls independently, with no supervision.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Hardworking and a team player with a desire to continually learn and improve their skill-set
Valid Journeyperson Electrician license.
Relevant work experience.
Proficient knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring agility and strength.

Cable Installer
We are seeking an experienced Cable Installer to join our team. In this role, you will not only utilize your cable installation expertise but also have the chance to participate in our Electrical Apprenticeship Program, enabling you to become a skilled electrician and advance your career in the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Experienced Cable Installer Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain low voltage cable systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cable connectivity.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks.
Electrical Apprenticeship Responsibilities:
- Participate in our Electrical Apprenticeship Program to gain practical experience.
- Work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of electrical projects.
- Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
For Experienced Cable Installer:
- Proven experience in cable installation.
- Familiarity with security systems, AV and Ethernet cabling systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
For Electrical Apprenticeship:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical industry.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- A commitment to safety and following established protocols.
