About the Project

This stunning home/office combo has been featured in several architecture and design magazines since its completion in 2021. Set in Halifax's North End, the 3,200-square-foot custom build pairs the warmth of natural materials — wood, brick, marble — with the restraint and precision that has become a signature of Omar Gandhi Architect's work.

The Wadden Electric team managed the full electrical scope of this custom build, working alongside MRB Contracting and Hewn + Barter from the earliest design stages. Prewiring during construction allowed every device, fixture, and integration point to be planned and routed before drywall — eliminating the compromises that come with retrofit work and delivering a finished result that disappears into the architecture.

Clean and modern electrical finishes include Bocci receptacles in the kitchen and main living spaces — a small detail that tells you everything about the level of attention the architect, the builder, and the trades brought to this home.
